The Great Indian Mythology

India, popular in Worldly-Conversations, as the ‘Land of Legends!’ with its rich literature spanning Multiverses and even Yugas! It is not surprising to see the sudden-spark in the Indian-Reader to be drawn into this vast, enigmatic, and colorful world of Mythology.

The recent life breathed into this ancient part of story telling is by young & new writers across the country. Their painstaking efforts to make sure that, their work is not merely tagged as, ‘Old-Wine in a New-Bottle!’. They also make sure to get their Mythos right as they draw the base of their version of the great epics, Being inspired from today’s world, to excite the Well-informed, Indian-readers, and to have a tight-hold on their curiosity that keeps them guessing, where the saga is taking them. It must be noted that it is not the immersive content but the easy and relatable language that is used in these modern marvels that plays a big part in holding the readers in one place. Breaking from the archaic rules of characterization for the Protagonist and the Antagonist in these works of fiction, is proof of how conscious efforts had gone into creating these believable, lead personalities.

It maybe more than just coincidence how Mythology seems to have take over multiple platforms. TV serials keep it obvious by choosing to re-tell episodes from our Epics with finer details and forgotten characters and missed-out misfortunes of their heavenly heroes. Hollywood however, seems to be bitten by this bug too, reasoning out why so many Super-Hero movies/ franchisees are hitting the screens every week. Sapna Book House has the largest collections of books, and to make sure they don’t leave out on any interested reader, they also house a wide collection of books in regional languages. Adding a desi-touch to these Big-Books!

Visit any of the 12+ Sapna Book House retail stores in Bangalore and find a collection that will surprise you. Sapna Book House is the best place for any book lover. With over 10000+ books to choose from in various languages, you know for sure; this is your den!
